These Terms of Service govern your use of the White River Strategy portal and any surveys, resources, or tools made available through it (the "Portal"), operated by White River Strategy LLC ("WRS," "we," "us"). By using the Portal you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy and Data Use Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal.
Access is by invitation, tied to your participation in a WRS program. The Portal is intended for staff, leaders, and participants of organizations engaged with WRS, acting in their professional capacity. It is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18. Keep your login to yourself and let us know if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.
Use the Portal for your program work and provide accurate information when you choose to provide it. Please do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with how the Portal runs, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
Some features invite you to answer surveys. Participation in any survey is voluntary, and you may choose not to take part. Please note that skipping surveys may reduce the detail and quality of the tailored content and reports WRS can create for you. How WRS collects, uses, de-identifies, and shares survey responses, and the consent choices available to you, are described in the Privacy and Data Use Policy.
You retain ownership of the responses and content you submit. By submitting responses, you grant WRS a license to use them for the purposes described in the Privacy and Data Use Policy, including producing de-identified, aggregated research and reporting. WRS will only quote your individual responses, or identify you or your organization, with the specific permissions described in that policy.
The Portal, its software, and the program materials and reports WRS provides are the property of WRS or its licensors. You may use them, and share them within your own organization, for your learning and work. You may not distribute them outside your organization, post them publicly, or resell them.
Guidance and content provided through the Portal, including material about AI use, governance, tools, and data handling, and any summaries generated by AI features, are general and informational. WRS provides professional advisory services under its separate engagement agreements, and nothing here limits those. The Portal's general content is not legal, financial, tax, or other licensed professional advice, and using the Portal does not by itself create an attorney-client, financial advisory, or similar licensed relationship. For decisions that call for licensed advice, please consult a qualified professional in that field.
The Portal is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. WRS does not promise the Portal will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WRS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Portal, and total liability is limited to the amount paid for the program, if any.
Your access does not end automatically when your program concludes. We generally keep the Portal open afterward so you can revisit your materials and stay in touch with us. Either you or WRS may end your access, and if it ends, we handle your data as described in the Privacy and Data Use Policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms and will post material changes with an updated effective date.
